What is the Skin Barrier?
- The skin barrier is the protective outer layer formed by skin cells and natural lipids such as ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids. Its functions include limiting water loss and helping protect against bacteria, pollution, allergens and environmental stress.
- When the barrier is compromised, skin may feel dry, irritated and sensitive, with reduced elasticity and more visible fine lines.
- TEWL (Trans-Epidermal Water Loss) refers to water escaping through the skin. When the barrier is weakened, water is lost more quickly, which can contribute to dryness, reduced elasticity, sensitivity and a tired appearance. The formula is designed to help reduce TEWL.

Directions for use
How do you use this product?
After C-TIDE Serum, apply an appropriate amount to the face, neck and decollete, then massage using gentle upward motions. Use morning and evening. During the day, always follow with Parasole SPF50+ PA+++.
